FRESH: Shody Debuts With "EJURU' featuring Multiple Award Winning Rapper Kevin Tita a.k.a Mr. Nigeria

Shola Ogunkunle is an upcoming singer who records and performs under the pseudonym of Shody. He hails from Oyo State but grew up in Kaduna State in the northern part of Nigeria. We discovered him at a small concert where he performed a live set.

He has just released his first ever single titled ‘Ejuru’ which features multiple award winning rapper Kevin Tita a.k.a Mr. Nigeria as well as production coming from the award nominated producer K9. He hopes to take his music career to the next level as he is currently unsigned. To promote the song, he has contracted ReplayTunes Media & Concepts to promote it both online and on air. It is set to premier on RayPower 100.5 FM come Saturday.

The song ‘Ejuru’ is a club oriented love song. With a semi-fast tempo rhythm combined with nice and well arranged lyrics, both Shody and Kevin Tita sure did justice to the song. We bet everyone would at the end of the day agree with us that Shody is bound to be a star.

Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown, Drake, Lil Wayne & More Dominates MTV Music Video Awards 2012.

Young Money's Nicki Minaj, Drake, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown and more united last night (September 6) at the annual Video Music Awards with memorable attire, performances and awards. Award winning comedian Kevin Hart, who promised no one would be spared his comedic barbs, opened up old wounds between Chris Brown and Drake in his opening monologue, spoofing the two for the bar brawl that took place between their entourages in June. Drake and friends Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne sat stone-faced as Hart joked: "Nip it in the bud, guys. I'm tired of it. Fix it tonight".

Despite the uneasy beginning, a handful of Young Money as well as other stars such as Rihanna, Chris Brown and Taylor Swift artists went home with trophies. Below is a complete list of winners of the night.
